August 2014 Newsletter – Introduction

Welcome to our August 2014 Newsletter!

Summer is almost over. People enjoyed a great season throughout the whole country. In Vancouver we had plenty of sunny days, high temperatures and not so much rain. It is now time to enjoy the last days of warm weather and start getting ready for the change of season.

August 8th marked the end of our 2014 Summer Semester and 2014 Summer School programs. A total of 20 students graduated from our regular program, and seventy-two students completed their summer school courses. We thank all our agents for the continuous support and partnership.

Our regular students are now enjoying their vacation while we prepare for the 2014 Fall Semester. Classes are scheduled to run from September 2nd to December 19th, 2014. We will be offering a great selection of academic preparation, required and elective courses at the Grades 9, 10, 11 and 12 levels. Seats are still available for some of the courses. Please, contact us for more information.

In our August edition we are sharing information about our graduation and awards ceremony, activity day and recycling project. You will also find a short but interesting article about the most common challenge that students face when going back to school: changing their bedtime routine.

We would also like to draw your attention to an article that has been recently release by the Canadian Tourism Commission (CTC). In this article, CTC talks about the new federal government initiatives that are being implemented to make the visa process easier for travellers from Brazil and India. You can read the full article here.
