All international students in Canada are required to have valid medical insurance coverage for the duration of their stay. There are two main options available:
Private Medical Insurance: The school can assist in arranging private medical insurance upon request. Students may also choose to obtain their own coverage independently.
Medical Services Plan (MSP): Eligible students are required to enroll in British Columbia’s provincial health care program.
Students must ensure that their medical insurance remains valid at all times and must provide proof of adequate coverage. It is also important to notify both the school and MSP of any change of address (see the “Change of Address form” form).
Parents/guardians are responsible for any medical expenses or injuries that may occur during participation in school activities. While all school activities are appropriately supervised to support student safety, the school is not responsible for any loss or injury that may occur during travel to and from Pattison High School.
