The dedication of faculty and staff, and the work that is done every day, leads to student success. The preparation of the student for university is the focus of much of the dedication and the work.
Students arrive at Pattison High School with a vision that may still be in process. As they develop academically, and refine their areas of interest, students arrive at a clear goal for their post secondary years.
As a result, graduates of Pattison High School have been accepted locally, nationally and internationally. Local institutions include: the University of British Columbia, Simon Fraser University, University of Victoria, Emily Carr University, Kwantlen Polytechnic University, and the British Columbia Institute of Technology.
Canadian university acceptances include: University of Toronto, McGill and Queen’s universities, University of Alberta, McMaster University, Waterloo University, University of Western Ontario, York University, University of Calgary, Carleton and Concordia universities.
Many students have expressed interest in “going to college” in the United States. American university that have offered acceptances are: Harvard, the Maryland Institute College of Art, New York State University, the Otis College of Art and Design, the Parson’s College of Art and Design, the Pratt Institute, and the School of Visual Arts.
Internationally, graduates have been accepted at: the University of the Arts London in England, the University of Melbourne in Australia, and the Swiss Hotel Management School in Switzerland.
Pattison High School is most proud of its graduates and welcomes them to visit their ‘alma mater’ at any time. We believe that graduates’ success is a reflection of the school’s success.
